DIAMOND EDUCATION

1. The Diamond
COLOUR

We exclusively select E colour grade diamonds to perfectly balance size and a pristine, white appearance, ensuring that every piece offers superior aesthetic appeal. Diamonds of this grade are virtually indistinguishable from the highest colour grade D, allowing us to provide you with larger diamonds at great value.

2. The Diamond
CLARITY

Almost every diamond naturally contains flaws due to the intense conditions of its formation. Clarity grades range from FL (flawless) to I3 (included 3), and the fewer the inclusions, the better the diamond's brilliance due to optimal light travel. Assessing clarity with the naked eye is challenging, but our experts ensure that all our diamonds are of VS1 clarity, providing a eye-clean appearance with exceptional brilliance.

3. The Diamond
CUT

Our diamonds are meticulously selected to ensure the highest quality of sparkle and brilliance. Cut grades, which range from Ideal, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, to Poor, play a crucial role in a diamond's ability to reflect light. For shapes other than round, an "Excellent" cut is optimal for achieving maximum sparkle. In round diamonds, the "Ideal" cut grade is the pinnacle of brilliance. We are committed to superior quality, which is why we exclusively offer diamonds with an "Excellent" cut grade, ensuring they display outstanding brilliance and sparkle.

4. The Diamond
CARAT

Carat weight and size are distinct yet important aspects of a diamond's characteristics, with carat directly relating to the diamond's weight. Higher carat values generally increase a diamond’s value. However, we prioritise achieving the best size-to-carat ratio while maintaining an "Excellent" cut grade, ensuring both affordability and luxury. For example, a 0.9ct diamond can often appear the same size as a 1ct diamond.

FLUORESCENCE

Fluorescence is the diamond's reaction to ultraviolet light. Fluorescent diamonds will sparkle or emit a blue hue in a UV environment, such as sitting on a sunny beach. Only 30% of diamonds have fluorescence, While some people appreciate a diamond with fluorescence, the majority do not. A diamond with fluorescence is significantly less expensive than one without.
